Description

We support our client, a major company, specializing in the railway industry, to hire a key resource for a position as a Business Architect (Pricing).

Ton savoir

  • Baccalaureat (System Information, Administration, Engineering, etc.);
  • 5 years and more experience in a Business architect role ;
  • Experience in business requirement analysis, architecture disciplines, design and deployment;
  • Experienced with Business processes and practices ;
  • Knowledge of key concepts in the area of pricing ;
  • An understanding of components involved in planning and participating in service contract negotiations;
  • An understanding of freight rates, tariffs, terms and conditions;
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry with a good grasp of the terminology and concepts related to equipment and logistics.

Ton savoir-faire

Translate expected strategic business outcomes into capability requirements in order to define a cross functional architecture vision and strategy;
Responsible to sequence the components to illustrates how a strategy is to be realized (roadmap);
Lead the development , delivery , maintenance, communication and governance of architecture standards, guidelines and/or frameworks to support this vision Champion efforts for cross functional architecture changes;
Identify where alignment of the business architecture is required with the information and technology architecture;
Be the SPOC for questions related to business system capability;
Ensure compliance and be the SPOC for Solution Architects;
Business Architect for a specific stream will liaise with Business Architect Leads of other streams to address any integration issue, impact or dependency with respect to process, information and people/role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills;
  • Strong organization and facilitation skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, synthesize, document, translate and communicate business information to technical teams and vice versa.
